The 28th International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent will be held in Geneva from 2-6 December, 2003.

The main theme of the Conference is "Protecting Human Dignity".

The International Conference is one of the most important humanitarian forums in the world. It brings together all the components of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement with states that are party to the Geneva Conventions. Together they examine and decide upon humanitarian matters of common interest and any other related matter.
