Towards safer villages
ICRC, Geneva, 2002
The ICRC has been at the forefront of mine/unexploded ordnance
(UXO) awareness work across the world for a number of years.
This film offers a comprehensive overview of the various steps
taken to implement a mine awareness programme and is an excellent

community involvement and the importance of integration with
the work of other humanitarian organizations - in order that
a programme can be tailored for the specific needs of an individual
community.
